SUPERTRODE A 22Repair - Joining Electrode

SUPERTRODE A 22Repair - Joining Electrode

DESCRIPTION & APPLICATIONS :

Supertrode A22 is an AC-weldable rutile-coated electrode with an alloyed core, suitable for joining corrosion-proof, highly heat-proof, & non-scaling CrNi-steels which are subject to service temperatures upto 1200°C. The electrode is also suitable for joint welding Cr-, CrSi-, and CrAl steels and for cladding low alloy base metals. The weld metal alloy is highly hot-crack-proof & chemical corrosion resistant.

Keep temperature as low as possible during welding. Annealing to 250°C and post-weld tempering to 700°C is required on ferritic base materials.

Ideal for joining unknown grades of stainless to themselves and to carbon steels.

Supertrode A22 is mainly used in furnace-construction, for fittings and pipelines, heat exchangers, valves, canthol wire joining, kiln anchor joining…..

UNIQUE FEATURES :

  • High alloy content allows use in high temperature applications for scale resistance up to 1200°C
  • Extra low spatter emission minimizes clean-up. Extremely smooth-spatter and turbulence free arc transfer.
  • Weld metal is non-magnetic.
  • Short arc length, Ultra low heat.
  • Fully austenitic structure.
  • Highly resistant to hot-cracking & chemical corrosion.
