SUPERTRODE A 26Repair - Joining Electrode

SUPERTRODE A 26Repair - Joining Electrode

DESCRIPTION & APPLICATIONS :

Non-magnetic high manganese stainless steel electrode specially developed for resurfacing rail points and crossings. The weld metal is not susceptible to cracking and possesses high deformation capacity. The weld metal exhibits excellent crack resistance to rolling and sliding friction, abrasion and impact. Deposited weld metal work hardens under impact.

Joining and repairing of difficult to weld steels, manganese and armour steels, steels with high sulphur and phosphorus contents, railways, mining--.Buffer layers before cold hardfacing on manganese steels. Best suitable for resurfacing rail points and crossings, worn out rails.

UNIQUE FEATURES :

  • Non-magnetic weld deposit , not susceptible to cracking and posses high deformation capacity.
  • Excellent crack resistance and extra tough high tensile strength.
  • Excellent resistance to rolling and sliding friction, abrasion and impact.
  • Joins armour steels to them selves as well as to mild steels, stainless steels and manganese steels.
